Introduction

Uday Waldorf Carnival ‘2024 is the 6th edition of the fun fair organised by the school’s parents, teachers and children every year to display the lovely world of Waldorf and to share with all the Jaipur children the kindness and love they experience as members of the Uday Waldorf community.

This year, it is aimed towards an audience of about 1500 parents and kids. Based on the idea of inclusivity, it welcomes kids and their parents to come and see a different approach to education and living.

This year we are bringing unique Adventure Activities like ziplining, and wall climbing and traditional activities like grinding, pottery, chakki, spinning, weaving, Toran, wet-on-wet painting and lots of interesting workshops for all age groups like puppetry, creative arts, lanterns, mask making, painting and also many meaningful workshops for parents. 

Our children are also excited as they are putting up stalls for food, and games and bringing lots of workshops and performances. 

Our parents are also making all the preparations, from decorations to handmade toys to food stalls, and helping with all the backend processes like registrations and promotions.

Eligibility and timings:

  • 22nd  December – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, followed by jam session.
  • All parents and children. Children under 2 are free.

Pricing of basic entry and activity coupons

  • Entry ticker Rs 50 per person, 
  • Activity coupon  (optional)- 
  • Bundle of 10 activities-  Rs 499/- (applicable for all age groups- anyone can buy)
  • Any 5 activities from the bundle of activities – Rs 300/-

What are the activities included in Bundled activities-

There are 20 activities You can buy an activity bundle of any 5 or any 10 activities priced at Rs 300 or Rs 500 respectively.  – 

What other activities are available in the carnival?

What else can children do or learn?

There are a lot of workshops lined up as well, including puppetry, lantern making, Batik , Almond bars, Parent toddler, Mask up, Beeswax lip Balm etc for all age groups. There are games, music, lots of dance performances, yummy food stalls, toy stalls, so lots to enjoy and cheer.

What is the difference between workshops and activities?

Workshops have a definite start and finish time from 30 minutes to an hour, and also a small batch- max 20 in number and are age-specific. While activities are available throughout the day and for for a short durations of 2-5 mins.

Rules and Regulations 

  • Tickets once bought are non-refundable, non-adjustable and non-transferable.
  • Please note the time of the workshop properly and gather at the respective workshop point at least 10    minutes before the scheduled time.

Important points to note

  • If you want to do adventure activities please ensure wearing comfortable shoes and clothing.
  • Please do carry water bottles to avoid wastage of disposals. 
  • Please bring at least 3-4 hours to enjoy the whole carnival.
